Bottom Time Scuba, Roatan is different ! We Were West Bay’s first truly Boutique PADI Dive Shop, established in 2016. Even Before Covid, we catered to small groups with full concierge service. We operate our dive shop on our property – Papaya Place Divers Inn. Only five minutes from the Foster’s dock. Because we are not renting expensive retail space on the beach we can provide a premium dive charter service for small groups at very competitive prices. Let us handle you gear ! We will rinse it, store it and set it up again for you the next dive day.
We have a fresh water shower and towels on board to rinse off after dives. We include ice cold water in reusable bottles, snacks , fresh fruit, and drinks afterwards. Rental gear including dive computers are at NO additional cost. You will not find a better dive value in Roatan ! To remember your trip we have Bottom Time Scuba t-shirts, hats and mask straps for sale.
Our custom dive charters take you where you want to go ! We explore the cool sites and spend the time you want on photography, exploring and discovering hidden treasures under the sea. Dive at your own pace, relax and enjoy the reef. Our 100 cubic foot steel tanks provide dive times from 60 to 75 minutes or more. Most other dive shops with 80 cubic foot aluminum tanks limit dive times to 45 to 55 minutes. No rushing on your vacation. We dive with no more than 6-8 divers per trip. Providing top quality personalized service ! No cattle barge here ! No hoards of divers herded into the water and scaring away all the marine life. Dive with high performance equipment, 100 cubic foot steel tanks and dive computers at no extra charge, ALL the bottom Time you want !
DIVE SITES – We have never had a set schedule every day as others do. We go to sites that you choose. Of course we take weather conditions into account. We do not have to go to the same place twice unless you want to. You can be here for two weeks and never dive the same site twice ! Being located at the western most tip of the island; we get to enjoy diving TEXAS all the time !
LOCATION-LOCATION-LOCATION – On the leeward side we are protected from the South Shore [Iron Shore] winds the majority of the year. Calm, warm, flat seas with no currents allow perfect diving conditions ! We also have dock space on the South Shore [Iron Shore] which enables us to dive all year long. Literally a five minute boat ride to the south side of the island to enjoy the diversity in soft corals on the windward side, weather permitting.

Do you want to snorkel? No problem, we offer great snorkel trips ! Roatan has many awesome snorkel sites !
Does only half your family dive ? No problem we can arrange a custom dive and snorkel trip for only your family. Many great snorkel sites are also great dive sites ! Fun for the whole family !
